Door Design and Functionality The 20-inch-wide gate can swing both ways. The door stays open when engaged beyond 90 degrees. If the door is opened to less than 90 degrees, it will auto-close. When installed at the top of stairs, a stopper prevents the door from swinging over them.
Security The gate locks securely to keep babies, toddlers, and pets contained, thanks to narrowly spaced bars that prevent them from squeezing through. Adults can easily open the door using one hand by engaging the latch and pulling up on the door.
Assembly and Appearance Although the gate may appear bent initially, it will correct itself upon proper installation.
